Hi Edward. We’re not aware of a specific aftermarket carbon seatpost available in 30.0 mm diameter. If you’re set on using a specific style of seatpost, utilizing a smaller diameter post with a shim would likely be the best option. 27.2mm posts are quite common and 27.2 to 30.0 shims are available from a few makers.

I have a Montague Fit.

I am trying to replace the seat post with a carbon fiber seat post.

Could you tell me if there is a manufacturer that makes carbon fiber seat posts for my bike?

The size of my seat post is 30.0

Robert’s bike has a water bottle cage and bottle in place. The bike below that, belonging to Mike Volokhov, has a folding bike lock mounted in that location. Not sure about the brand but ABUS is a popular option for those, and most have holders that mount to standard bottle cage bosses.

I’d like to know, please.

I have a “classic” Paratrooper which I have customized for the trails of NE Pennsylvania, cross-country stretches and rock gardens: 1×8 with narrow-wide 32T ring and wide range 12-42 cassette, 785 mm bars, and RockShox Judy air fork. I may eventually change the entire drivetrain to MicroShift Acolyte (also 1×8) but with a clutch to prevent chain-drop while descending rocky trails.

Replaced the rear wheel hub with a coaster style hub. And new 1.5” tires So now it’s a simple single speed with back pedal brakes.
It has proven to be a perfect sailboat bike.
I would like to get a new version of a Montegue similar to the “909” but smaller frame and set it up similar to what I have now.
Is that possible?

I believe it’s a WTB Thick Slick 700 x 28, so not a particularly wide at 28mm. The rim on the other hand, has a VERY deep profile!
